Backyard deck and patio cover

The homeowners wanted a place to sit outside their back doors that was not bare dirt. We set footings, framed and decked the platform, then stained and sealed the boards. A new patio cover went up over it, painted to match the house trim, so the deck is usable through an Austin summer.
